Brand new role for established and progressive business developing lots of exciting technology and AI. This exclusive role is a Business Applications Engineer/ Business Systems Engineer, that is responsible for a diverse range of business critical applications, such as their ERP, Jira, databases – SQL and MySQL plus more (MS Tech stack)! No two days will be the same in this busy company…. The role will work closely with IT and Devops- as well as working closely with the BA’s too.   The right person for this diverse and driven team will be an ‘engineer’ …..in the sense that this person will have a curious mind, get stuck in, want to understand how things work. There is lots of autonomy in the role too, so alongside a supportive manager, you really will be able to make it your own �� This persom will be responsible for looking after all of the bus app’s, some integration work, lots of data/ lots of databases, lots of SQL, lots of MySQL. Perhaps from a database background; or someone who has some DBA experience, if no experience of working with/on applications.   Post probation (when you will have really got to know the role and got under the skin of the systems, the applications, the data, and the people etc.) the homeworking and flexibility can be enjoyed.
