Delivery Manager Up to £57,000 Hybrid working – 2 days a week in the office in Cheshire    Join a dynamic and forward thinking team as a Delivery Manager: Drive Excellence in Client Delivery! Are you prepared to spearhead the seamless delivery of top-notch products to clients? Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic and seasoned individual to step into the role of Delivery Manager. As a crucial player in the Customer department, you'll be instrumental in shaping both the day-to-day operations of delivery teams and the overarching success of the professional services team. Main Responsibilities: Project Overview: Collaborate with team members to provide a comprehensive overview of ongoing and upcoming projects. Analyse project status, milestones, and potential challenges. Proactively flag delays and issues. Resource and Capacity Planning: Develop and implement effective resource planning strategies, ensuring optimal utilisation of skills within the team. Allocate resources based on project requirements and deadlines. Billable Hours Management: Monitor and analyse billable hours across projects, identifying opportunities for optimisation and efficiency improvements. Track and report project timelines and budgets collaboratively. Financial Analysis: Conduct a thorough financial analysis of projects, tracking costs, revenue, and profitability. Provide insights to enhance project financial performance and share accurate forecasts weekly with the leadership team. Profitability Enhancement: Implement strategies to drive project profitability. Identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement. Collaborate with Business Development Execs and Account Managers to maximise opportunities. Reporting and Communication: Generate regular reports on project status, resource utilization, and financial performance. Communicate key metrics and insights to leadership and project teams as set by the CEO & Head of Customer. Risk Management: Identify potential risks to project profitability and develop proactive mitigation strategies. Work closely with project managers & consultants to address and resolve issues impacting project financials. Role Requirements: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management or a related field. Experience leading teams and managing people (bonus). Familiarity with project management tools and software. Proven track record in optimising resource utilisation and driving project profitability. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including experience dealing with senior client stakeholders up to the C-Suite. Measures of Success: Achieve and maintain department KPI’s for revenue and utilisation. Minimize whitespace and maximize time spent on high-value work. Ensure clear visibility of forecasts for revenue and utilisation three months out.
