We are looking for an Enterprise Architect for a financial services business, based in Kent.   The key purpose of this role is to be accountable for proactively and holistically leading Enterprise Architecture activities to identify and analyse the execution of change towards targeted business vision and outcomes.  You’ll provide the necessary thought leadership, analysis and design related to the development of a well-managed enterprise architecture, creating deliverables that help develop a direction for managing the organisation's portfolio of "as-is" and "to be” to align business outcome objectives. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Enterprise Architect who’ll be integral in the next big step for the business in their IT transformation programme. Experience 7 years’ experience of at least two IT architecture disciplines, including Solutions  Architecture, Systems Architecture, Business Architecture, Information/Data Architecture, Application/Service Architecture and Technology/Infrastructure Architecture 7 years’ experience of developing/documenting Architecture Roadmaps, Standards & Patterns, Business problems including Scope, Functional and Non-functional Requirements Solution Design as well as detailed architecture Blueprints 5 years’ experience of contributing to Architecture Governance forums with the ability to document and track actions 5 years’ experience of business and technical problem solving skills 5 years’ experience of the ability to “think big” and demonstrate strong analytical skills 5 years’ experience of the ability to bridge communications on complex needs and requirements between technical and business-oriented audiences 5 years’ experience of technology implementation experience Knowledge & skills Specialist knowledge of enterprise architecture tooling Specialist knowledge of Financial Systems and associated platforms Detailed knowledge of IT infrastructure components , Networking and  Cloud technologies and options Advanced skills in respect of the Microsoft technology ecosystem Advanced skills in enterprise solutions incorporating cloud services (Azure, AWS) Advanced skills in integration, orchestration, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and micro services architecture including best practices for enterprise systems Advanced skills in integration solutions & ETL with enterprise tools Advanced skills in using Architecture description languages (ADL’s) to support enterprise modelling techniques (UML, ArchiMate) The business offer hybrid working, 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, discretionary bonus, excellent pension contributions and a whole host of other benefits, including access to private medical cover.
