Varied is the best way to describe this role!  We’re looking for a First Line Support Analyst to work within a varied role that will include both 1 st Line Technical Support AND projects!! The company are great, too. Well established yet very much on a growth trajectory, this company is investing hugely in their tech and operating processes to achieve impressive growth plans. As First Line Support, you will be the first point of contact for all users who are experiencing technical problems.  We’re looking for an enthusiastic person who loves troubleshooting as technical issues could be desktop, application or hardware related.  Why is a computer running slowly?  Why is a scanner not working?  It will be your job to find out why! The technical environment is Microsoft based so we’re looking for someone who has worked on a helpdesk or service desk supporting Windows desktop based problems with MS Office, Office 365 etc.  Application understanding of products such as Sage would be useful as would hardware skills covering printers, scanners etc. This role would suit someone with a varied technical background gained. Not necessarily in depth across all areas but certainly a good background with 1 st Line Support and some 2nd line.  Not only will you have good technical skills but also excellent customer service experience – we are looking for people who not only want to progress their IT career (lots of opportunity) but who have a real passion for IT and importantly a genuine desire to help and therefore provide the best possible service through IT, delivering a fantastic customer experience. This is a great opportunity to push IT technical change and improvements within a fast-paced business! Duties and skills required will be varied and so you must be adaptable, they could include  Technical support of Windows desktop Experience of supporting applications preferable  Peripheral support – hardware, scanners, printers Based near Skelmersdale, this position is easily commutable from the M58 / M6 motorway network, places such as Ormskirk, Wigan, Warrington, Chorley and St Helens.
