Information Security Governance Officer needed to champion security best practice across our fast-paced client who are serious about ensuring quality Information Security, risk management, vulnerability and compliance strategies are embedded within their business. Hybrid working – 3 days on site, 2 days remote. If you’re passionate about championing information security best practice and enjoy raising information security awareness by educating others, this could be a great role for you. Other responsibilities will include defining and maintaining the information security policy framework and critical IT Security controls within a regulated and highly compliant environment, security due diligence reviews to manage third party risk and audit management. InfoSec, IT Information Security, risk management and data governance policies are all things you should be very knowledgeable in with a robust knowledge of CIS (centre for Security Controls) or similar framework experience.  This could also be a very good role for a person looking to step into management as part of your responsibility will be to manage a junior report.  Previous management experience is not necessary in this area providing there is a strong interest to coach and develop a direct report. Based near Stoke, this position is commutable via the M6 motorway and places such as Stafford, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Stafford, Telford, Burton, West Bromwich, Shrewsbury, Walsall, Stourbridge, Staffordshire, Shropshire, parts of West Midlands Tilt Recruitment are specialists in IT Recruitment.
