A higher level of knowledge and skill will be required to resolve complex and sensitive technical issues within the virtualised estate.  Your expertise will also be required to recommend, plan and design changes to the VMware virtualised infrastructure that address the requirements of the business and their clients. Other responsibilities will include ensuring optimum performance and availability of on-prem VMware ESXi servers, and provide both BAU and project support across VMware, server storage and back-up technologies. Skills needed include: VMware within a large, multi-site virtualised environment (certification such as VCP, VCAP preferred) vCenter Server and ESXi Knowledge of storage technologies – Nimble, HPE, Dell Knowledge of MS Windows Server and MS Exchange Server Knowledge of powershell scripting Active Directory – enterprise / multi forest scale We have recruited for this company for around 10 years and have lots we can tell you about their genuine career opportunities and award-winning culture so please contact us for further information.
