Our client is embarking on a major infrastructure project and require an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager or Project Lead to deliver the project. Your remit will be to design and deliver a new IT infrastructure for the company as they part company with their current provider likely to include a new hybrid solution comprising Microsoft cloud services (Azure, 365, Data Factory and InTune), IaaS partners and additional network, security, device and application suppliers. We’re looking for a Project Manager with a strong technical background in Data Centre and Cloud technologies, ideally technically accredited with a background of managing IT projects such as cloud transformation and ideally major data centre infrastructure migrations. Knowledge and Experience: A proven track record of successfully managing and leading IT infrastructure projects, preferably within diverse industries. Demonstrated ability to deliver similar large-scale projects on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.  In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts, including Data Centre migration, WAN, LAN, Server, Azure, Cloud, Security, Active Directory, on-prem Windows Server and VMware. Project management methodologies, Prince 2, and tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong presentation skills to effectively convey project updates and recommendations. Outside IR35 determination pending. 4–6-month contract. Can be home based with occasional trips to site.
