We have an opportunity for an IT Manager with a passion for hands-on work within a full stack Microsoft environment. You could already be working as a hands-on IT Manager, or as an Engineer looking for the first steps into IT operational management whilst retaining your technical expertise.  Our client is open to both! This role will involve 3 rd line support across the tech stack – Microsoft Windows Server, 365, Active Directory etc, VMWare and Cisco networking – troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.  Operational management of the IT Department will come in the form of managing IT technical projects such as windows file server migrations, disaster recovery as a service, back up as a service etc plus any other opportunities you spot for innovation. You’ll day to day manage a small team as well as 3 rd party supplier relationships including an MSP provider as well as playing a pivotal role in ensuring all systems operate flawlessly. So, if you’re looking for a varied role incorporating operational IT management combined with hands-on troubleshooting and project-based work, this role offers the mix for you! Based near Alfreton, Derbyshire. Onsite for the first 6 weeks, some flexibility for 2 days per week remote working afterwards. Tilt Recruitment are specialists in IT Recruitment.
