IT Service Desk Engineer / IT Service Delivery Engineer required for one of the best and most exciting companies in their field globally. Working for this extremely interesting client, you will be responsible for the provision of best-in-class IT support service within an amazing environment.  You will also be involved in IT project work. Not only will you have good technical skills having worked within a 2 nd line support role but also excellent customer service experience – we are looking for people who not only want to progress their IT career (lots of opportunity) but who have a real passion for IT Support and importantly a genuine desire to help and therefore provide the best possible service through IT, delivering a fantastic customer experience. Duties and skills required will be varied and so you must be adaptable, they could include Provide day to day onsite technical support IT project involvement such as new tech rollouts Good technical skills in fault diagnosis and kit repair (Desktop, laptop etc) Good range of Desktop application and operating systems knowledge, Office 365, Windows 10 MacOS desktop / Apple Mac set up Windows Server skills desirable Basic Active Directory and Exchange administration desirable Exposure to Networking including switches, routers, DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS, cabling) Incident or problem management Azure Active Directory exposure desirable PowerShell scripting would be brilliant Knowledge of ITIL Service Management This high-profile client is also looking for an IT Support Engineer who: Has a keen sense of service with excellent communications skills Can be proactive not only in managing work but also how and what solutions you can provide, you will want to go “that extra mile” You must have the ability to “think on your feet” and be able to deal positively will all situations, no matter how difficult This truly is an opportunity to progress your career with a great company, real support, and training but importantly the chance to spread your wings and be a part of things – you must have a real passion for IT and importantly how that helps to improve service.  This company actively encourages staff to take on challenges and deliver above the expected, to think of new innovative ways to fix problems and stop them happening again – even to stop them before they happen.
