We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide 2nd Line Support and 3rd line support within a MS Windows and VMWare based environment. You’ll be providing high level infrastructure support support for 2 sites within the UK. Supported by an external 3 rd party providing 1 st line support, your role will include responding to and managing the resolution of 2 nd line and 3 rd line technical problems as well as supporting on technical projects such as the migration to new file servers, technical rollouts and infrastructure upgrades. An all-round Microsoft windows technical expert, you’ll have strong windows server skills across versions from windows server 2016 to server 2022, VMware 7 experience, Active Directory, Power Shell, Exchange and Office 365 and experience of troubleshooting issues within a typical windows tech stack. This is a role offering autonomy and the ability to input into lots of different areas such as best practice and incident management so we’re looking for a person who enjoys taking ownership of problems, responding quickly to problems and relationship management.  Onsite for the first 6 weeks, some flexibility for 2 days per week remote working afterwards.
