We're looking for a Project Management Team Manager who's passionate about people for our financial services client who is renowned for their outstanding culture and progression opportunities. As Project Management Team Manager, people management of your team of circa 10-15 Senior/Project Manager direct reports will be your biggest priority. We’re seeking an experienced Programme Manager, Project Manager or Portfolio Manager who has managed teams of people and takes huge satisfaction in the development and coaching of them as well as managing workstreams and project management frameworks, resource management on projects as well as recruitment into the function and overseeing the quality of deliverables and performance by the project management team.  You'll also need to have the confidence and experience to deal with difficult situations, whether that be in the project delivery or people management. With a large programme of transformation projects, experience of managing multiple projects across a varied change portfolio is essential.  Within this, project management skills that can provide direction and guidance on best practice, quality standards and process improvement. We’re also looking for a manager experienced in mentoring and coaching their team, providing training and guidance as well as conduct appraisals that support career development for individuals within the team.  Having the passion and drive to guide their team through the ranks is integral to this role. This is a significant role for the business, reporting into senior leadership within a people-focused business.  Benefits package includes bonus, car allowance, private medical insurance and 30 days' holiday, amongst a whole host of other benefits.  There will be some travel between sites. Hybrid 3 days office / 2 days WFH. This position is located in either the South East or West Midlands and is commutable via the M6 motorway from places such as Wolverhampton, Cannock, Stafford, Telford, Dudley, West Bromwich, Shrewsbury, Walsall, Stourbridge and much of Birmingham for the West Midlands.  For the SE location, London, Essex, Kent and surrounding areas are all commutable.
