Project Manager Chester (mostly remote) £43,000 Great benefits   We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of managing end-end delivery of IT and corporate projects. Working for a well established and professional organisation with a collaborative and supportive ethos. The role sits within the Business Transformation and Technology Team.  Responsibilities will include  delivering transformational business change and on-going support of all ICT systems. You will have worked as a Project Manager, delivering IT and corporate  projects and have some Business Analysis experience, analysing the needs of stakeholders, capturing their requirements and translate them into system requirements. As a Project Manger you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of projects which could vary from technical integration, business change and transformation,  governance, ecommerce etc and may span the software development life cycle/SDLC. Excellent control and good practice within project management is essential.  A Prince 2 accreditation would be desirable and experience of delivering projects in an agile fashion. Use of robust project management methodologies, systems and practices to successfully deliver projects is key. Responsibilities will include: Day to day management of concurrent IT projects The definition and management of corporate and IT projects, encouraging the need for transformation and change within a business area in tandem with the delivery of new capabilities and outcomes from the project. Identify project risks and agree appropriate actions to mitigate/control. Regularly review risk assessment. Ensure residual risks are incorporated within the appropriate business area’s operational risk plan Creating and maintaining realistic project, communication, transition, benefit realisation and quality plans.  Ensuring that project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale, quality, scope, risk, change and benefit goals. Understand and analyse needs of stakeholders, capture their requirements and translate them into system requirements. Pro-actively manage issues, taking action to achieve urgent resolution and escalating promptly and clearly where necessary Day-to-day management of a projects, working closely with key stakeholders including sponsor, change leads and the IT team. Lead the shaping of the project, contributing ideas, optimising scope to achieve the business objectives and validating viability. Challenge existing thinking, processes and procedures and identify opportunities for change.
