We’re looking for an established Project Manager, preferably within the Financial Services sector, who’ll be responsible for the quality delivery of change projects on time and to budget, with a specific focus on the customer and end user processing journeys, ensuring the right solution and project approaches are being managed as the business continually transition and change. You’ll provide excellent customer service delivery, effective risk management and identify areas of opportunity to improve best practices and ways of working and ensure work stream Leads are working to agreed timelines.  The role involves providing sound direction, governance and oversight across areas of responsibility and also understanding the wider programme impacts.  You’ll be a ble to work at a strategic, as well as a detailed level, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across the Group and third parties. Experience 5 years in a Project Management role managing high profile / critical projects using waterfall and agile methodologies 3 years’ experience of working and managing projects in a large and complex change function 3 years’ experience of managing projects within the financial services sector would be preferable Knowledge and skills Specialist knowledge of project management methods and approaches in a large scale and complex environment with a particular emphasis on the use of banking industry standards Specialist knowledge of industry project management best practices and methods Detailed knowledge of project governance, Prince 2 and project methodology is essential Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Visio is essential Detailed knowledge of the project lifecycle and a variety of project approaches is essential Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Advanced skills in project management within a large and complex change function Advanced skills in Prince 2 This role is with a specialist financial services business, based in either the South East or West Midlands, offering hybrid working and excellent benefits package.  If you’re interested in finding out more about this exciting opportunity with one of the Times’ ‘Great Places to Work’, then please apply now!
