Senior Project Manager – West Midlands – Hybrid working – Financial Services We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to join a fast-growing and transforming financial services business, based in the West Midlands.  You’ll be joining the Change area of the business and will be working collaboratively with colleagues to enable the successful delivery of their transformation. You’ll be required to show knowledge and thought leadership in the project management field and be able to deliver the more complex projects across multiple disciplines and programmes, inclusive of coaching and mentoring in order to help develop the overall project management community, its processes and practices.  This is a hugely exciting time to be joining the business as they embark on a significant transformative journey and you’ll be an integral part of enabling this change.  The initial focus for this role will be the fitting out of a new office building, so experience in this is key. What you’ll be doing: Collaborating closely with all colleagues and teams in the change delivery lifecycle and within the change management function to ensure the successful delivery of the projects by taking full end to end responsibility for the delivery of the project across multiple disciplines. Leading the development of the overall project approach, their time frames and the definition of their major deliverables to address and meet the desired goals and outcomes of the project. Coaching and mentoring more Junior Project Managers to support their development within the Change area of the business. Proactively resolve project issues and mitigate project risks Identify key stakeholders and resources needed across all colleagues and teams in the change delivery lifecycle to ensure successful delivery of the projects. What you’ll need: 5 years’ previous experience of delivering projects within a complex and dynamic environment, specifically requiring the PM to support multiple projects such across multiple disciplines, within a regulatory environment. 5 years’ previous experience of a full project lifecycle and a track record of managing multiple initiatives concurrently. 3 years’ previous experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall. Specialist knowledge of industry project management best practices and methods. Advanced skills in project management within a large and complex change function, Prince 2 or PMI and Agile Methodology. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
