Senior IT Project Manager, Financial Services/ Banking experience required. £55,000- £60,000 plus annual bonus and benefits We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, with a Prince 2 accreditation preferably Prince 2 Practitioner, who will have had a wide range of IT and change project management experience. Preferably within professional or financial services and experience managing projects within credit risk would be highly desirable! As a Business Change (IT) Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of projects within a regulated environment which could vary from technical integration, business change, data governance etc and may span the software development life cycle / SDLC. Using strong project management expertise gained managing multiple projects, or singular on a larger scale, you will be responsible for the day to day management of IT and IT change projects with energy and effectiveness. Experience gained within Financial Services or Retail Banking or Lending or mortgage originations, Credit risk, Insurance, or other regulated environments would be preferred. Excellent control and good practice within project management is essential. The role includes: Day to day management of concurrent Change IT projects Manage the project activities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the sponsor. Define and be accountable for the approach and milestone dates. Maintain the plan in a controlled manner to take account of changes. Identify and secure internal and external resources required to execute the project. Build a high performing team with the right blend of skills for the work. Identify project risks and agree appropriate actions to mitigate/control. Regularly review risk assessment. Ensure residual risks are incorporated within the appropriate business area's operational risk plans Pro-actively manage issues, taking action to achieve urgent resolution and escalating promptly and clearly where necessary Lead the shaping of the project, contributing ideas, optimising scope to achieve the business objectives and validating viability. Challenge existing thinking, processes and procedures and identify opportunities for change. Your experience will include: Minimum of 5 years experience of delivering projects within a complex and fast moving environment, requiring you to support multiple projects across multiple disciplines Experience of a full project lifecycle and a track record of managing multiple initiatives concurrently is essential Experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall is essential Experience of implementing projects within the financial services sector is desirable Previous experience of working in senior project management role is essential Also, experience of implementing 3 rd party solutions and working with 3 rd party suppliers is desirable In terms of your knowledge, specialist knowledge of project management methods and approaches in a large scale and complex environment with a particular emphasis on the use of banking industry standards is required. Advanced skills in project management within a large and complex change function is essential as are advanced skills in Prince 2.   This is really exciting time to join this highly successful and established business that continues on its growth curve, and all of the associate opportunities that go with that will be available to further enhance your career.
