Technical Solutions Analyst Alfreton £40,000-£50,000 Hybrid model of working   We are looking for a Technical Solutions Analyst to provide support within a MS Windows based environment. This role will suit a hands on individual with a technical background and perhaps looking for a step up or route into management, someone who is technically curious, who thrives on identifying problems and creating a solution to solve them. Our client are an expanding global manufacturing company based in Alfreton, Derbyshire (DE55 2JJ). They are offering a hybrid model of working 2-3 days in the office. Responsibilities may include checking on and analysing the group policy, recommending and actioning changes, looking at a global file system for branch offices and network refreshers, managing projects. identifying and rectifying problems and liaising with 3 rd parties. You may also  be providing technical support and business user system technical support for 2 sites within the UK, supporting users both deskside and remote. You may already be working within a support desk or service desk environment providing Helpdesk and technical support expertise including trouble shooting desktop problems, laptop builds and Active Directory Group Policy. Technically you will have a broad range of skills within a Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems environment including Windows 7, Windows 10, Office 365 / O365, Microsoft Office 2016 and Active Directory, ideally with Group Policy experience.  Project work may involve streaming data from linux data capturing machines, checking the business analytics dashboard for real time analysis. You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of service desk best practice, incident management, taking ownership of problems, responding quickly to problems and relationship management.  Above all enthusiasm for problem solving and for delivering exceptional customer service is required.  This is a role where you’ll be liaising with key stakeholders within the business across all levels. This role will really suit a hands on individual with a technical background and perhaps someone looking for a step up or route into management.
